A Piece To The Puzzle of GOTY 2013
Okay, so I was on YouTube and searched:
American Girl 2013 when I saw this video titled Sharon Batan American Girl
2013. At first I thought it was just another phony GOTY 2013, but when I saw
the video, I realised that it was a audition for the GOTY movie for 2013! I
think she is just playing one of the other characters named Gina, and the
person filming played Saige. This girl is really good at acting and should definitely
get a part in the movie! So what I got from the video was that Saige and Gina
are trying to come up with a plan to save their schools art and music program
with a fundraiser, but Gina was objecting all of Saige's ideas. Gina's
personality is not really caring about anyone else, and thinks she's perfect.
Sounds like Chrissa all over again. Don't forget to take a look at the video
and tell me what you think!
Licorice is Back!
If you have been shopping at American Girl
as long as I have, you would have noticed that until mid 2008, the only pets AG
had were Coconut and a sly black cat named Licorice. Well, if you missed her,
I've got news for you......... LICORICE IS BACK BABY!!!!! She has an all new
look, and a new collar! Honestly, I hate cats, but Licorice is just ah-dorable!
Here is a picture of the newest and oldest pet of the AG pet collection!
Please write what you think in the coments below!

The Nicest thing I've ever seen from a doll store!
Hey guys! It has been brought to my
attention that AG has started making dolls for girls with illnesses and
disorders! I'm glad American Girl is being so kind as to make these kind of doll
for girls who might be insecure about what they are going through. It must be a
joy to all those girls who have Cancer and/or hearing problems to have a
companion that have no hair just like them! Just click on this link to see how
you can get one of your own! http://store.americangirl.com/agshop/static/dollHospital.jsp
Hope you enjoy!

WARNING! Delta Simpson is NOT real!
You may have seen pictures or videos of
Delta Simpson on Bing, YouTube, and/or Google saying Delta is next years GOTY
doll, but a recent video was poster by agadairt77 on YouTube saying she made
Delta, and she is not real!
See? Well, If you don't believe me, here is the proof
You're just gonna have to do a close up on
her, but if you look carefully, the card she is holding is pink, and the doll
is in a JLY doll dress that she colored green and blue. She also is just a
replica of a JLY doll I mean come on people! Would American Girl make a doll
that is an exact replica of a JLY without any difference? Plus, American Girl
would never post a picture until late October or early November. Now, if you
still think Delta is the GOTY 2013, then study facts
carefully, watch the video again, and check other websites for evidence. If you
still don't believe me, then look at other blogs that have info on the 2013
GOYT. None of the ones I checked said anything about Delta. If you STILL don't believe
me, think of all the evidence I gathered up and put it all together. Hope you
changed your mind!

"My daughter wanted to get a McKenna doll but we bought the movie first. When we watched it we were very disappointed with the McKenna character. She is rude, disrespectful, and entitled. Gymnastics is an expensive sport and she shows no gratitude or appreciation to her parents for making it possible. We won't be purchasing the doll and are hoping for a better role model for the Girl of the Year next year."

"This movie is a quality show that you would expect from AG. There was some harmless competitive talk I that i thought was typical of girls this age. The friendships were dynamic which is exactly what girls deal with in everyday life. Friendships can be complicated and girls will deal with them in the real world. In a competitive sport, kids get competitive that shouldn't shock anyone. McKenna has a lot going on in her little life and it creates some great opportunities to discuss these issues with your kids. My kids watched it over and over and loved it. We breathe in blue skies all the time!"
So, this is what other people think. What do you think of the movie?

Back in April we figured out the first clue to the who the American Girl GOTY 2013 will be when we found out that the illustrator of her books will be Sarah Davis – the same illustrator who drew the gorgeous illustrations in the Kanani books. You can verify that by reading the post Sarah did about the process of drawing Kanani and her scenes.
Quite a few readers sent me notes with the links to the GOTY 2013 book summaries from the Library of Congress website. The books are already available for pre-order (click link).
Since this year’s GOTY was so heavily sports based, I am not surprised that the GOTY 2013 will be focused more on the arts. According to Jessie Haas’ website – “If you like horses or reading-or both!-you’ll be happy here. You’ll find horse books for all ages, historical and contemporary novels, poetry and history for adults.”
Let the guessing continue!

Sorry!
I have been gone awhile because of summer
school and it's my first year of middle school so I have a lot of homework.
But, here is a late entry about the newest doll, Caroline Abbot! So in the war
of 1812, a girl named Caroline that enjoys sailing with her father. She also
has a cat named Inkpot. Then, out of the blue, tragedy strikes when Caroline's
father is captured and must do everything to keep their shipyard running and
save her father. I think Caroline is very brave and only wish that someday, I
could only do the same even that is highly unlikely
